Adventures in Reading!

When I was a young girl, my Godmother gave me a subscription to a magazine for children, which I absolutely adored. Every month, I looked forward to receiving my magazine and would be entertained for hours with pictures, stories, puzzles and riddles.

Today’s children need this kind of stimulation just as much as when I was young! These magazines can go on car trips to Grandma’s or fill your child’s time while waiting at the doctor’s office. Kids can take the magazine to school and show it to their friends. And kids love that they get their own magazine in the mail – they feel grown up.

The award-winning magazine Zoobooks introduces children ages 4-12 to the magical animal kingdom. Zoobooks and it’s companion, Zootles, for children ages 2 to 6, are found in libraries and used in schools all over the country. Each magazine focuses on a different animal, of over 60 different animals that they feature with photos, facts, puzzles, and fun-to-read descriptions.

"Family tested" by more than 8 million parents, this is what subscribers say about Zoobooks:

"My boys have been getting this for a little over a year. They love it!! They get so excited when their own magazine comes in. I think it is an awesome way to teach children about the creatures of our earth!"
"My son, 7, absolutely loves this magazine. It's the first thing he goes for at the library since he was about five and a half. All the creatures others said their kids aren't interested, thrill my son. Spiders, skunks you name it. Of course he loves lions, tigers, bears and sharks too. We're finally getting a subscription.”
"This has been a GREAT FIND! I have a son who is a true ANIMAL LOVER at heart and he LOVES these. I love them because they are full of interesting pictures & photographs plus things I never knew about animals I have known all my life (like how eagles and other birds of prey have 3 eyelids!) We ordered National Geographic for kids, but it was too cluttered with ads and funky graphics, that it lost my son's interest.”
